Old Southeast
Old Southeast is an area just south of downtown St. Petersburg, which encompasses the neighborhoods of Old SE, Tropical Shores, and Driftwood. This neighborhood was built around Lassing Park with its direct views, beach and access to Tampa Bay. These homes are as early as the 1920’s, but mostly fall in the bungalow and mid-century building styles reflective of their age. Continue South to the southernmost neighborhoods of South St. Petersburg – Coquina Key, Bonita Park, Bahama Shores, the Pink Streets and Pinellas Point. These neighborhoods were mostly developed in the 1940s-1950s as the population in St. Petersburg spread out past the downtown neighborhoods.
