Susan Farias

Susan Farias has lived in St. Petersburg since 1956 and has witnessed, with excitement, the growth of the City she loves.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science Education from the University of South Florida and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.  Susan enjoyed a career as an educator at St. Petersburg High School, she spent 13 years as a classroom teacher and 12 years as the Director/Assistant Principal of the International Baccalaureate Program at St. Pete High.  Her experience navigating the public school system has proven very helpful to her clients, she can expertly guide families to find the right “fit” for all the educational programs offered in Pinellas County.

Upon retiring from Pinellas County Schools in 2018 Susan became a licensed Realtor and began working for Southern Roots Realty, which is a perfect fit for her.  She enjoys providing “white glove” service to all her clients and the personal attention she can pay to each customer.

Susan also is an antique dealer and provides estate sale services locally.  She offers all the resources needed when a family is preparing to sell their homes or the homes of a loved one.

Susan is married to Rui Farias, the Director of the St. Petersburg Museum of History, the mother of three grown children and grandmother of three!
